Teen and adult volunteer opportunities are often available at the library. Volunteers are used for various tasks as well as for specific projects. Stop by the library and ask to fill out a volunteer application (or print one below and drop off completed).
Stop by the library in December and choose a book from the selection provided to add to our collection. Talcott will add a bookplate with whatever name you would like and you receive a gift acknowledgment to take with you. It’s a great way to memorialize a loved one or give a special gift for the holiday season.
Donations of gently used books and AV items will be sold in used book sales which support library programs. We cannot accept VHS tapes, cassette tapes, encyclopedia sets, textbooks, out of date nonfiction books, or magazines. Damaged, musty, and well used books can be recycled in your curbside pick-up. Please help our staff by going through boxes of donations to remove these items before dropping off inside the library during open hours, not in our book drop.
