It’s National Novel Writing Month and we’re hosting a mini write-in for teens every week this month! Bring your computers, ideas, and friends. Spend an hour getting your 1,667 words in with other teen writers. Open to ages 12-19.

Africa’s Gentle Giants

Come learn about the complex family structures of elephants, their diets, range and threats to their
continued survival. Presented by Dr. John and Christina Ulferts.

Vintage Reads Fundraiser
Saturday, November 24 9am-3pm

Join us for a one day only fundraiser highlighting some of the gems of
Talcott’s past. There will be something unique for everyone.
Items offered include: timeworn books from the late 1800s & early 1900s;
Life Magazine from 1937-2000;
and National Geographic Magazine from 1909-2017.
Support your library and find unique holiday gifts at the same time.

Stop by our Adopt-A-Book display
and choose a book to donate to the
library as a gift for a loved one.

You will receive an official certificate
of adoption to present to them and
a bookplate will be placed in the book with your names.

Your gift gives a book a good home at Talcott Free Library,
where it will be read and enjoyed by many in the community!
